The challenge

Climbers tend to downsize their shoes to improve performance penalizing their feet health. Tight shoes also wear off much faster requiring to change them often causing a short life cycle and unnecessary pollution.

The solution

A personalized climbing shoe is realized by computing the 3D shape of the feet through a computer vision algorithm and then 3D printed with flexible, durable, and sustainable materials, creating a shoe that does not require downsizing to be performant and does not wear off too fast.
